this will be my absolute last day here for a week, and i hope a month.
man, just watched fear factor.
what on earth is going through their minds as they perform those simply insane stunts?!?
wow. the only word in response to their jumping from one speed boat to another,
7 feet away, diving into a container full of 10 tons of dead squids and retriving the most weights,
pulling themselves on a vertical pole towards a what, 20-plus stories high, just to
grab a fear factor flag and to slide back and raise the flag up within the shortest amount of time.
it blows my mind away. almost literally.
as the 2 ladies and guys were holding their breaths and swimming through the rotten mess, i was gasping for air too.
hate to say this, but the last stunt?
i just knew the guy was gonna win. the lady was really scared and she was freaking out the whole way on the pole.
i don't blame her but she wasted quite a lot of time. and i wasn't really rooting for her anyway, she was
very cruel to the guy when he was on the pole.
yup, he did tell her to fall in the beginning but during her stunt, he shut up.(or was i not paying attention?)
oh yeah his name is john and hers alexis.
i really admired the way she mucked about in the container full of dead squid though. the last stunt just wasn't in her favour.
i don't know whether i would have had the confidence to do the first jumping stunt, coz i hate jumping(especially the stand broad jump test in school)
but i would do the other two, and shouting out my disgust and fear the whole time while doing them.
haha. that's what happened when i did this high height thingy with tall, tall logs of wood
and between two of those logs would be a secure line or 3 shorter logs etc.
of course i had my harness and helmet, and 3 people down on the ground would be helping to make sure i didn't die
and i had to cross the length between the two logs.
i was really freaked out and i just kept shouting how scared i was, but,
yay! i completed them! i can say i completed two advanced rope challenges!
not much of an achievement, huh... but it was exhilarating... definitely.
argh, did i just crap about myself? too much, huh.
farewell for now.
